Who We Are

In the book of Acts we see the first church come to life and develop into a congregation. Acts 2:42-47 gives us a clear picture of what REAL LIFE Church of the Nazarene intends to be.

"42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."

ersistant Prayer
 We have to be constantly on our knees praying for one another and for the lost that God will make a way for us to get the message to them. (Acts 2:42)
A
uthentic Worship
 We worship God because of who He is. He is sovereign King and Lord Almighty. In everything we do we do it for Him. (Acts 2:42, Romans 12:1)

ound Biblical Teaching
 Our desire is to get into the Word and find out what it is saying, then finding its meaning, and finally finding out how it applies to our lives, to be fully saturated in His Word daily. (Acts 2:42-43)

incerity of Heart
 Our desire is to be open, honest, truthful, and reliable with one another and by this showing the Love of God to all men. (Acts 2:46-47)
I
ntentional Evangelism
 Everything we do is geared toward helping the lost find Christ. (Acts 2:47)
O
neness in Body
 We need to be looking out for one another and helping each other meet our basic needs whether by prayer or whatever means necessary. Coming together in fellowship to bond together as the family of God. (Acts 2:44-46, Eph. 4:1-6, Col. 3:12-17)

eed Oriented Small Groups
 Coming together to help develop one another in maturity in Christ. (Acts: 2:45-47)

pirit-Led Ministry to Others
 Through love we need to serve one another and help meet needs that no one else is meeting. (Gal. 5:13)
